The Blackford County School Board welcomed the BJSHS Unified Sports participants and coaches to the September meeting. The group was on hand to talk about their accomplishments and upcoming events. Come out and support the Unified Football team as they take to the field tomorrow.

Join the Blackford County Jr/Sr High School FCA for Prayer by the Bear from 7:30-7:50 am on Thursday, September 29th. There will be snacks, drinks, music, and prayer. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Junior High Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets EVERY Thursday morning before school in the library for food, fellowship, and food for thought. The high school FCA meets every Friday morning before school in Master Sargent Kauffman's area. Everyone is welcome to attend.
A representative from Indiana University will be visiting during lunch on Thursday, September 29th.
Junior and Seniors: If you are interested in meeting with the representative from Purdue University on Thursday during PEAK, please sign up in Guidance.

(2/2) Practice will be 2 to 3 times weekly, with tournaments on Saturdays. Students will have opportunities to receive scholarships and advance to State, Regional, and National championships.
(1/2) Students in grades 9-12 interested in joining the Archery Team should meet with Mr. Jones in room 221 as soon as possible. We need a count of those interested in joining the team by September 25th.

The salad bar is back today!! $5 for a large, $3 for a small during all lunch mods. We will once again have the Mexican salad, as well as traditional dressings. Please note the salad bar is NOT part of the school lunch and must be purchased separately.
The Homecoming Dance is TONIGHT after the game until 11 pm, for high school students only. Tickets are on sale for $3/person. No outside guests or jr. high students are permitted to attend. Remember: Students can only have 1 "F" per school policy.

(1/2) Blackford FCAs invites you to join us at East Central Indiana's largest local youth event, the 14th annual FIELDS OF FAITH, on Wednesday, October 15th! We will be holding the event back INSIDE the Muncie Fieldhouse for the first time since 2017!
